The School Counselors are pleased to announce “Student of the Month”. LISA Academy takes pride in teaching students about choices in life that lead to healthy outcomes. Centervention, our student-driven, social emotional learning platform contributes to this process. Also, each day our students are encouraged to demonstrate “Jaguar Pride” (positivity, respect, integrity, dedication and excellence) daily.

Who Nominates: Classroom teachers will choose a student once a month based on their positive character qualities. Please complete the "Student of the Month" form by the 15th of each month. Each teacher can only nominate one (1) student per month and should vary from month to month.

This past weekend, Aryan Thota represented LISA West E at the Pulaski County Spelling Bee and placed in the top 10! Special thanks to Ms. Majors and Aryan's mom for making sure it was a success!

Congratulations to this year's Spelling Bee Winners : 1st Aryan Thota - 2nd Nihal Sasapu - 3rd llian Kahn!
The 1st place winner will go to the County Spelling Bee and represent our school.

Help keep our Lost & Found empty! Please always label your students' jackets, water bottles, lunchboxes, etc. with their name.

WEE would like to congratulate our own 5th grade student, Mahek Pabani. Mahek was given the opportunity to perform the Star Spangled Banner at the Little Rock Police dept new recruiting officer graduation ceremony in the presence of Mayor Frank Scott, and other city delegates. Mahek also performed her native Anthem on the celebration at the 75th Independence Day of India at the State Capitol in front of Honorable Governor Asa Hutchinson.
