Good Mourning Grief Support Groups
ü Open to any K-12 student who has experienced the death of a family member or friend.
ü Adults connected to participating children and teens are invited to be part of an adult support group. Parent
ü Orientation will be Tuesday, September 21.
ü All groups will begin the week of Sept. 27 and conclude the week of Nov. 15.
ü Grief Support Groups run for eight weekly sessions. Each session is about 90 minutes in length.
ü Children and teens meet in small groups with others of similar age and all group members have had the experience of the death of a family member or friend.
ü No fee to participate, but an application is required.
ü To apply online, go to the link below, click on Arkansas Children's Grief Support Groups, scroll down and submit name and email--an application link will be sent. There is also a downloadable form to complete and send in if you prefer that option.
