This year, we will be exploring the theme of “Future Earth”, contemplating and celebrating the wonder and diversity of life in all its forms, on Earth and beyond, asking where we have come from, where we are going and how science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) can help us sustain our planet for future generations. "Future Earth" is the theme for students to explore sustainability, energy, agriculture, water, technology, biodiversity, pollution, health and current research. Earth’s seven billion inhabitants need some big ideas to continue to flourish. We asked young people to create solutions to help our global population, survive and thrive on a continuously changing planet. Young people who are active in sustainability, science and innovation today will play a leading role in shaping future decision making.
