Science Fair

We will have five winners from each section of fourth grade that the teacher will select based on the elementary science fair rubric. We will have five winners from each section of fifth grade that the teacher will select based on the elementary science fair rubric.
Those 30 projects will be eligible to be judged by our selected official judges on January 25th from 9 to 11. The 15 fourth grade projects will be displayed in the three fourth grade classrooms. The 15 fifth grade projects will be displayed in the three fifth grade classrooms. Parents will need to know that only 15 projects from each grade will be eligible to be judged on January 25th. The students will be notified in advance if they made it to the final competition on January 25th. Parents also need to know that all projects not in the final judging on the 25th will be displayed on that day, including third-grade group projects, in the halls of the school for public viewing from 11 to 12. Each of those projects will receive a participation ribbon. The 30 projects being judged on the 25th will also be available for public viewing in the appropriate classrooms from 11 to 12. Awards for first, second, and third place winners in fourth and fifth grade will be announced and handed out on the 25th beginning at 12:30 in the school cafeteria. 3rd Grade projects will only be displayed in the hallways and there will be no judges for them.
